Band Camp

In our band and performance camp, students are grouped according to age and ability and are placed into bands with an instructor as the band leader. Our instructors are professional, multi-instrumentalist musicians with lots of experience. Those who teach the camps also teach our private lessons and have a history with House of Chords.
Description
Students will rehearse original and cover songs that they will perform in a concert at the end of the week for family and friends! The majority of time is spent refining these songs, which are selected as a group (but always ensuring arrangements are manageable according to each students’ skill level). Within the small band groups, each student will be assisted by the instructor to learn their individual part. We ensure a fun and supportive learning space for all students. In addition to rehearsing, each band will partake in fun games, music trivia and they will also participate in a photo shoot, which will be made into a poster to take home!
This Camp is intended for students who have been playing for at least 6 weeks on any instrument.
What to bring: Your instrument and a snack (no nut products) and ear protection if you have some.
Time: 9:00am-1:00pm
